CHRONO: redefining commute
The Time Pod transforms your commute from wasted time into productive, personalized moments. It's an on-demand, pre-booked transport system that allows you to work, rest, network, or relax while you travel. This not only eliminates waiting time but also makes your commute seamless and stress-free.
CHALLENGE
The main challenge we faced was the design itself. With only a week to develop the product, our process was fast-paced and centered around prototyping. I sketched multiple variations to explore the look and feel, as well as ways to integrate AI features. A significant hurdle was ensuring the design offered a comfortable environment for users to work in while still embodying all the key benefits we wanted to deliver through the work pod.
RESULT
The pod features a modular, 2–6 passenger layout with adjustable seating, fold-out desks, and noise-cancelling technology. It’s fully electric, uses integrated solar panels, and lightweight recycled materials. Key systems include regenerative braking, biometric entry, customizable climate and lighting, voice controls, privacy screens, and AR displays for real-time transit information.
