This collaboration merges Ducati’s performance-driven design language with Kartell’s expertise in production resulting in a unique, functional art piece that is entirely new to both brands.

The primary challenge was figuring out how to design a lamp that would uniquely reinterpret the identities of both Ducati and Kartell. I explored numerous ideation sketches before arriving at a final concept that captures a playful yet sharp aesthetic, reflecting the essence of both brands in its own distinct way.

The Redline Lamp seamlessly merges the core values of Ducati and Kartell in both its aesthetics and functionality:
Aesthetic Alignment:
The bold, aerodynamic red top is inspired by Ducati’s iconic motorcycle fairings and headlights, expressing speed, energy, and movement. The open, geometric steel frame and minimal structure echo Kartell’s tradition of playfulness, visual lightness and modern elegance.
Functional Alignment:
Dual spotlights provide focused, purposeful illumination, mirroring Ducati’s performance-driven engineering. The lamp is constructed from high-quality materials, reflecting Kartell’s commitment to innovation . Every element is intentional—structural, visually striking, and user-friendly.
